Paying tribute to Dr Sylvia Earle as well as six pioneering conservationists, SYLVIA EARLE was built to lead the way in conservation. Designed with an X-bow, she cuts through the swell for a smooth cruising experience, and the bow also features a glass atrium for spectacular views. 

Cruising in remote locations such as Antarctica, she is completely climate-neutral to ensure that she leaves little trace. There is a fully-equipped citizen science centre with experts and participative science programmes to allow for a full immersion into your surroundings as well as an enlightening experience while onboard.

Listen to the onboard experts in the lecture theatre and join the scientific team in the science centre to learn all about the surrounding nature. Unwind with a good book from the library or further research any of the wildlife you see with a range of guidebooks and travel journals.

Relax in the heated saltwater pool or in one of the outdoor jacuzzis and watch the stunning scenery drift by. Ease your aching muscles after a day of adventure with a soothing massage or a trip to the sauna in the wellness centre.

Catch up with fellow travellers over a delicious meal in the dining area or enjoy a well-earned drink in one of the bars onboard as you gaze over the impressive polar landscape. For more fantastic seascapes, the library and lounge are peaceful sanctuaries boasting extra-large windows, so be sure to keep a lookout for wildlife. There are also plenty of purpose-built observation areas on deck for optimum viewing.

From kayaking and diving to climbing and ski touring, SYLVIA EARLE is designed to get you on land. There is a mud room and sea-level zodiac boarding platform, making boarding the zodiacs much more accessible than traditional ships.
