“What really struck me was the history behind this extraordinary phinisi yacht. LAMIMA was built over a period of nine months using traditional Indonesian techniques and launched with a ceremony that involved transporting the boat to water over a two-month period on wooden rollers. It is remarkable to have the opportunity to stay onboard a modern-day yacht that was created with such incredible technique, rich in culture and history.”

Built in 2014, LAMIMA is the largest phinisi yacht to ever sail the stunning, biodiverse waters of Indonesia. Offering the phinisi’s classic good looks, she has also been upgraded with modern refinements that enhance her strength and stability.

With seven spacious rooms capable of sleeping up to 14 guests, LAMIMA offers an elegant charter experience both above and below deck. Careful attention to the placement of portholes has ensured natural light throughout.

The main salon has a lounge and bar, as well as a dining table large enough to comfortably fit everyone around for a convivial debrief of the day’s adventure.
