The only boat of her class still afloat, HMS GÅSSTEN was originally constructed in 1973 as a minesweeper for the Swedish Navy. Scottish master craftsmen gave the vessel a full refit in 2018/19, although still retains the wooden hull originally designed to shield her magnetic signature.

Tour the fjords of Western Norway while staying in this gorgeously refit former minesweeper. With space for ten guests in five en-suite cabins, the atmosphere within is luxurious and cozy with exposed oak beams on the ceiling and attractive wood paneling throughout.

Dine on freshly caught fish in the roomy forward salon and dining area before a digestif on the pine deck space above the salon while admiring the Sunnmøre Alps. The experienced crew will guide you to the pick of the experiences nearby, such as cycling dramatic valleys, skiing pristine slopes in the winter, or visiting remote Bjørke and Øye (HMS GÅSSTEN is the only vessel in the area capable of reaching these latter destinations).
