THE YACHT
A charter yacht that broke new ground when she was launched in 2019, the 279.8ft BOLD was designed by Espen Oeino and built by SilverYachts in Australia.
With a top speed of 23 knots, she was the world’s fastest explorer yacht on launch. But it’s not just her speed that marks her out: BOLD is equipped with a draft of only 9ft. Unprecedented in a vessel this large, the shallow draft allows her to reach anchorages typically beyond the reach of yachts of her category.
Inside, BOLD offers meticulously designed accommodation for up to 12 guests. The highlight is the master quarters that offer a bedroom, his and hers ensuite bathrooms, a private saloon, and direct access to exterior decks.
THE EXPERIENCE
This is a vessel optimized for a truly global adventure. BOLD’s over 400 square foot main deck aft converts to become a certified helideck thanks to folding handrails and retractable hydraulic bulwarks. Flush lighting enables after-dark heli-operations, while a six-tonne crane launches tenders and water toys. Or, simply use it as a spacious al fresco dining lounge.
The use of oak and teak warm the contemporary interiors that also boast painted metallic accents and marble flooring.
BOLD’s interior centerpiece is a loft-style skylounge and connected Wintergarden, the latter equipped with sliding glass panels allowing a choice between indoor or outdoor dining.
