REINE & ORCAS

You’ll rendezvous with your Captain and Pelorus host at Leknes airport. The captain will take you to your yacht and you’ll set off on a scenic cruise to Hamnoy. You’ll arrive in the gorgeous fishing village of Reine—regularly voted one of the planet’s most beautiful destinations, with its primary colors fisherman’s huts arranged amid the glowering coastal mountains.

Explore the Reinefjorden, between Reine and Hamnoy, by sailboat, kayak, or SUP. Reach Bunes, one of Norway’s most inaccessible beaches, by tender before an incredible alfresco dinner in the midst of the astonishing vistas, the Aurora Borealis wavering overhead.

Back on your vessel, you’ll commence a search for Norway’s whales in a style that few have experienced. On your purpose-built expedition vessel, you’ll be joined by a team of experts as you stay out on the water for days tracking pods of humpbacks and orcas across the water. You’ll learn about their life cycles and follow no fixed itinerary as you monitor these remarkable mammals. Observe the orcas hunting vast shoals of herring and watch humpbacks breach beneath the Northern Lights.

SWIM WITH ORCAS 

Slip on a dry suit and get ready to become even more acquainted with orcas as you swim beside them. An expert marine photographer will capture this incredible experience for you. It’s a daring adventure, and not for the faint-hearted.

WOLF ENCOUNTER & SURFING

Following the successful conclusion of your expedition, the vessel will dock in north Tromso. Check in to the unique Wolf Lodge where you’ll have an incredible close encounter with habituated wolves. With the guidance of experts, you’ll build trust with the animals before a stunning experience where you’ll be within touching distance of this apex predator.

On your return journey to Leknes, experience surfing within the Arctic Circle. You’ll arrive back at the Lofoten Islands with a new selection of incredible firsts achieved.
