For mountaineering lovers, Alaska-based Sheldon Chalet is the kind of vacation destination that you will have only ever dreamed of. Accessible by helicopter alone, Sheldon Chalet is situated 5,818 feet high in Denali National Park, only ten miles from the summit of North America’s highest peak, Denali. Who says luxury can’t come to the mountains?

In this new and exclusive 5-day experience for Pelorus clients, follow in the footsteps of legendary climbers Renan Ozturk and Freddie Wilkinson.

Climbing by Renan Ozturk

Both Wilkinson and Ozturk have had fascinating careers so far taking them on first ascents around the world, as well as numerous projects with National Geographic. We had the opportunity to hear from Ozturk about his experiences so far.

Inspired by 20th-century explorer, mountaineer, photographer, and cartographer Bradford Washburn, The Sanctity of Space is a brand-new feature film which debuts May 13, following Ozturk and Wilkinson as they attempt the first lateral ascent across some of Denali’s most challenging peaks, including the Moose’s Tooth.

Beginning at the Moose’s Tooth, this 5-day experience will include guided glacier exploration, backcountry skiing and rappelling into breath-taking ice caverns. Enjoy a photography masterclass with Ozturk, as well as an exclusive screening of The Sanctity of Space at Sheldon Chalet alongside the film’s directors and stars.
