ROYAL TEA IN JAIPUR & LEOPARDS

Land in Jaipur, the hustling ‘Pink City’. A knowledgeable guide will take you through the lively streets, past bustling markets, and on to the iconic Hawa Mahal. Five stories high, this stunning monument of pink sandstone with its web of 953 latticework windows, was designed to resemble Krishna’s crown.

Next, you’re invited to take high tea at the private residence of Jaipur’s royal family. Afterward, you’ll take a private tour of the auspicious seven floors of the Chandra Mahal, one of the oldest buildings in the City Palace complex.

Out of the thrum of Jaipur’s streets and into the airy and lush Saluwar Forest. There’s you’ll walk—and dine—among Indian elephants at a wilderness camp.

After this encounter with royalty and the majestic elephants—a symbol of India—it’s on to Sirohi by private charter to stay at the remarkable Jawai Camp. In this private game reserve, surrounded by remarkable granite towers, you’ll travel in a safari jeep into the bush looking for the many freely roaming leopards that live here.

ARAVALLI HILLS & EXCLUSIVE CAMP

Greet the sunrise at an expert yogi-led yoga session on your first day of horse riding. In tune with nature, introduce yourself to the elegant and exotic Marwari horses.

On one of these graceful beasts, ride through the fragrant juniper forest and across the high plateau of the Aravalli Hills, passing crumbling temples and encountering remote villages along the way.

You’ll reach an exclusive luxury tented camp, entirely constructed for your journey and set into the Siyana Hills. Here, in this peaceful tailor-made setting, you’ll sit down with a spiritual disciple of two renowned Advaita philosophy masters. For a unique experience in these remote hills, she will share the details of her spiritual journey and how it has shaped her life.

Encounter Rabari tribes—easily identifiable by their colorful turbans—as you continue your horse ride. Discover their way of life as you walk with them before returning to your camp for cocktails as you reflect on your encounters.

JODHPUR & FORT FEAST

Your final ride will take you to Jodhpur, its jumbled blue architecture appearing like a mirage on the horizon. Discover the Blue City on a private, customized tour where you’ll weave through the sapphire blue alleyways, see off-the-beaten-path treasures, and learn about local folklore and legends from your knowledgeable guide.

For the climax to your astonishing immersion in the ‘Land of the Kings’, you’ll reach Mehrangarh Fort with wonderful views over Jodhpur’s sea of buildings. When all the other visitors have left, the fort’s curator will give you a private tour of this iconic museum. As the sun sets, and Jodhpur’s buildings shift from sapphire to evening indigo, you’ll sit down to an exclusive dinner within the fort’s thick stone walls while being entertained with traditional music and dances.
