Once you’ve taken in the stunning scenery, visit the steaming waters of a secluded hot springs for a relaxing soak. Afterward, hop in ATVs for a family tour of the Icelandic wilds, discovering gin-clear plunge pools and steaming geysers.

Get tectonic at Thingvellir National Park where the Atlantic Ridge is in striking evidence. Hike across fracturing lava fields and past cascading falls in this dramatic national park that also doubles as a major historic site for this island nation.

Climb aboard a helicopter for a foray into the snowy Blue Mountains and a volcano encounter that will live long in the family collective consciousness. You’ll disembark by a dormant volcano before a climb to the crater and a cable lift descent into its eerie depths.

Onto Thorsmork’s pristine wilderness of glaciers, serrated mountain ridges, and volcanoes. Navigate along the trails with your family thrilling to the sense of expeditionary adventure. Climb into kayaks or a boat next, paddling the serene glacial lagoons of Vatnajökull National Park as you look for wildlife on the banks.

Onto the Troll Peninsula where you and your family will discover this vast wilderness from the saddles of purebred Nordic horses. While staying here, change to bikes or pull on your boots to delve deeper into this quiet, untouched countryside.

Expert guides are on hand to teach you or your children how to fish. Experience the rivers in a different way on a white-water rafting adventure, all pulling together to steer through the rapids and marvel at the imposing ravines.
