When to go
May – September

ATHENS

Your luxury yacht odyssey begins in Athens where, having been met and greeted, you’ll be escorted to your vessel. Discover the antique city’s maze of streets studded with designer boutiques.

With the sunrise, you’ll join your Pelorus guide for a visit to the Acropolis. You’ll spend the day at the Temple of Athena, learning about the many twists and turns of Greek history. Afterward, you’ll relax in the shade of bitter orange trees, people-watching as you have lunch at one of Athen’s finest fish restaurants. You’ll return to your yacht to begin your island hopping adventure.

THE CYCLADES ISLANDS

You’ll awake to the sight of Kea—the first of the Cyclades on your itinerary. Enjoy the view of this verdant ‘Island of the Water Nymphs’ as you have breakfast on the aft deck. This island is renowned for its wreck dives which include German Junkers WW2 aircraft and Titanic’s twin sister.

Alternatively, discover the Koundouros reef teeming with iridescent fish, heading below the water in a submarine or by scuba diving. For something more relaxed, snorkel the translucent sea ahead of cocktails at sunset as you cruise to Paros or the ‘Island of Marble’.

After arriving on shore and meeting your Pelorus guide, ride horseback across this gorgeous island until you arrive at a quiet beach for a swim in the ocean with your horses. Have a picnic in the Valley of Butterflies, as the namesake insects flutter around you.

If you’re after more adventure, travel by yacht to the bay of the Drionissi islets. In this uninhabited bay, you can dive the Drionissi canyon, spot antique remains among turtles and flashing barracuda, or learn to spearfish. If you choose the latter, bring your catch back to your chef’s open fire for a delicious fresh fish meal cooked to perfection.

You’ll cruise through the morning until the ‘Island of the Deep Blue’ comes into view. Secluded Amorgos is an off-the-beaten-track treasure with its waters full of stunning dive sites brightened by reefs and home to stingrays, tuna, and Mediterranean monk seals.
See Chora and explore its quintessentially Grecian whitewashed streets bright with bougainvillea. You’ll then uncover an intriguing part of the island’s history with an out-of-the-ordinary dive amid its once thriving mines in the east. By evening, you’ll be back on your yacht enjoying sundowners on deck.

FOURNOI & SAMOS

You’ll awake amid the untouched beaches and old windmills of the Fournoi Archipelago. Snorkel the waters or dive the enticing sunken settlement just offshore. Traveling to Samos, you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared lunch.

When you arrive at the ‘Island of Hera’ (and former home of Pythagoras), you’ll ascend Mount Karvouni, your reward for the challenging hike with glorious views over the island and the surrounding sea. Descend into the depths next, with a dive to the Kerveli Wine Cellar—where local wine is matured under the water—or the sunken Lighthouse turned thriving artificial reef.

THE DODECANESE ISLANDS

Explore the tiny archipelago of undiscovered Arkoi by swimming, snorkeling, or diving its cerulean waters before a delicious lunch on one of its beautiful beaches. This stretch of coast is also a superb windsurfing spot if you’re in the mood for a high adrenaline activity.

At sunset, cruise through the Dodecanese to the island of Leros. Beneath the waves, you’ll find a sunken treasure of wrecks, rare underwater vegetation, and exciting biodiversity.

Navigate to Kalymnos, with its craggy profile offering an abundance of natural climbing fields. A local guide will lead you to the best climbing routes up the mountains, before an authentic Greek lunch at the summit while ringed by glittering sea views. In the afternoon, take advantage of Kalymnos’s fabulous dive sites including the tunnels leading to Poseidon’s cave, the pirate cave, and the sunken ruins of the city of Potha.

Arrive at the silvery olive groves of Pserimos and sample some of the local specialties alongside glasses of the island-produced wine. Go spearfishing for your dinner amid the island’s coves.

Awaken to the rustic island of Symi visible through your yacht’s windows. Discover its pebbled mosaics and shipbuilding history before exploring Symi’s neighboring islands ahead of the journey to Rhodes.

You’ll gain exclusive access—arranged by Pelorus—to go behind the scenes of the 14th-century Palace of the Grand Master that stands on the foundations that were once the Temple of Helios. At sunset transfer by tender to arrive at an evening of delicious dining in a fabulous setting.

On your final day, travel inland to a forest of oriental sweet gum trees—a resting point for migrating Jersey Tiger butterflies. After a delicious picnic amid the trees and butterflies, travel to Afandou Beach and relax while listening to the waves or take to jetskis for some light-hearted racing. Travel back to the mainland before flying home laden with wonderful memories.
