ROCA BRUJA & PLAYA TAMARINDO
Begin your journey at the world-famous surf break of Roca Bruja, located within the idyllic nature haven of the Santa Rosa National Park. This enticing and remote surf spot—overlooked by the eponymous fist of igneous rock—offers powerful left and right breaks.
Soaring down the Pacific Coast to Playa Tamarindo, you will take in spectacular vistas from the air while searching for spinner dolphins and whales breaching below.
The chic surf town of Playa Tamarindo hosts a range of surf breaks, the best being the enthralling waves created in a river mouth where the swell and underwater geography combine in ideal surfing conditions. Combined with spectacular white sand beaches, this idyllic spot is breathtaking.
NICOYA PENINSULA & NOSARA
Your helicopter will continue down the coast, taking you to the Nicoya Peninsula where the charming, laid-back coastal town of Nosara serves up some of the best surf on the Pacific Coast.
With a reliable surf break, the beaches offer metronomic waves and strong swells. Enclosed within mangroves and forest, this is also a spectacular location for challenging hiking and mountain biking experiences that also present themselves, as well as peaceful paddle boarding opportunities along the river
The beaches are a hub of relaxation, with world-class yoga available and clean and clear water for snorkeling. At the end of a thrilling surf day, unwind in tropical beach bars as the sea and the sky merges in the tropical sunset.
BIG BREAKS AT SANTA TERESA
Boarding your helicopter, fly down the coast to Santa Teresa, soaring over emerald green jungle that abuts the foaming shallows and volcanic sand.
Bathed by rolling waves, the small beach town of Santa Teresa is a haven of peace and tranquility. Offshore, it’s an entirely different proposition. Santa Teresa hosts three fantastic surf breaks characterized by fast, hollow, and more powerful waves than Nosara (and generating a correspondingly higher spike in adrenaline).
Another way to raise your adrenaline is to explore the exuberant tropical ecosystem of Cabo Blanco by ATV buggy (or by foot, if you prefer). You’ll discover numerous intriguing monkey species, anteaters, and countless native birds.
Afterward, refuel at Santa Theresa’s beachfront restaurants with their delicious fusion and local flavors, featuring freshly caught seafood, tropical fruits, and locally grown vegetables.
