We are delighted to share a first look at ESQUEL, a 344ft diesel-electric expedition yacht constructed by globally-renowned Oceanco. Her creation is a collaboration between Timur Bozca Design, interior designer Gina Brennan, Lateral Naval Architects and Engineering, and Pelorus.

Engineered for extensive cruising to the remotest regions, ESQUEL comes with a  displacement hull with a plumb bow, a cruising range of 7000 nautical miles, and a top speed of 16.5 knots. While you’re touring Antarctica, you’ll enjoy the superb finish, amenities, and aesthetics that an Oceanco-built superyacht delivers.

Length: 105m / 345ft
Beam: 17.5m / 57.4ft
Draft (full load): 4.3m / 14.1ft
Maximum Speed: 16.5 knots
Gross Tonnage: 5000GT

With her 2475-square-foot tender garage stocked with fast ribs, varietal tenders, diving gear, and watersports toys, ESQUEL has been designed to offer all of the flexibility of an expedition vessel with the style and comfort of a world-class superyacht. An aft deck glass superstructure, located on the capacious main deck, encloses a pool and wellness area without any obstructions of the stunning views.

Pelorus’ expertise in experiential travel to hard-to-reach places—such as Patagonia and Greenland—informed ESQUEL’s capability to carry and deploy a land vehicle, motorbikes, and two submarines as well as accommodate a helicopter. Her flexibility means that she can also be fitted with laboratories for science-focused expeditions.
