Begin your Croatian adventure on the verdant Istrian Peninsula, with its vineyards and gorgeous hill towns such as medieval Motovun. In the dappled light of the Motovun Forest, join and truffle hunter and chase the truffle dogs on a private expedition. Savor the heady aromas of this most valued fungus as part of an introduction to the highlights of Croatian cuisine.

Onto Pula—the peninsula’s largest, and one of its oldest, population centers. Wander in the shadow of its Roman amphitheater and feel its 3000 years of history settled in the stonework of its ancient streets.

Over the azure seas by boat to the Brijuni archipelago—a national park of pristine meadows, forests, and waterfalls. On a private tour, you’ll discover how these islands have featured throughout Croatian history, and see its stunning wilderness and safari park. A dramatic insight into the long history of life on the island can be found at the Roman archaeological site, where over 200 dinosaur prints are visible. Discover how the surrounding sea is as untouched and alive as the islands on a snorkeling or diving expedition.

On to another national park, this time Risnajak—more remote, less well known. With cooling breezes rustling the beech forest, join an expert guide for a private wildlife safari. Come across wolves, bears, and, if fortunate, the elusive lynx, while peregrine falcons and golden eagles circle overhead.

Your next private tour takes place in the UNESCO-listed Plitvice National Park—an untouched natural haven of lakes, waterfalls, and caves.

Return to civilization with an exploration of Zadar’s walled town with its maze of charming lanes. You’ll take a private helicopter transfer to Cetina River Spring where, in the company of expert cavers and mountain rescue guides, you’ll experience the otherworldy beauty of Gospodska Cave.

From caves to cellars with a helicopter transfer to Bibich Winery. Pelorus has arranged an evening of gastronomic delights, a grand winemakers’ dinner in Plastovo with stunning views of the canyons and waterfalls of the Krka River. Savor the pairing of the country’s best wines alongside an exquisite tasting menu.

Back on the water, and navigate through the reefs of the Kornati National Park, its underwater world rich in shipwrecks, submerged caves, and incredible marine life.

Travel south and you’ll reach Split—an ancient port where its Roman, Gothic, and Renaissance heritage blends into a gorgeous old center. Among its many sites, you’ll see the Roman Emperor’s former residence—Diocletian’s Palace.

It’s on to trendy Hvar next by private seaplane. You’ll explore this sophisticated and charming island’s Venetian palaces, cobbled streets, vineyards, and superb al fresco dining. Take an ATV for an exclusive tour through the island’s fragrant lavender and olive-grove interior, eventually arriving in the abandoned Malo Grablje. In this timewarp village, you’ll sit down to a private traditional lunch far from the Hvar’s crowded quays, while taking in the views over the picturesque island and the shining Adriatic.
