MAINE & LOBSTERS
Begin your New England adventure on the gorgeous coast of Maine. Your luggage will be transferred to your yacht while you enjoy the thrills of white-water rafting along the Kennebec River. Along your route, you’ll find a wild barbecue lunch waiting for you at a riverside beach.
In the evening, you’ll dine aboard your vessel. Come morning, you’ll take a canoe up the forested waterways of North Woods looking out for black bears, Maine moose, and otters as you journey through part of the Appalachian Trail.
Switch to a traditional lobster boat and help the local fishermen haul in their traps. Back on the dock, enjoy a mouthwatering sea-to-table meal as a reward for your labors.
ARCADIA & MARSHALL ISLAND
Discover the gorgeous fringes of Arcadia National Park while onboard one of your tenders. Watch the osprey and bald eagles wheeling over the jagged cliffs and towering rock formations that act as their nesting sites.
Discover Marshall Island next, one of the East Coast’s largest uninhabited islands. Explore its 985 acres on a hike following its criss-cross of trails leading to secluded coves, woodland, and, eventually, a beautiful beach where your crew has been preparing a wild meal.
YACHT RACE & FORAGING
Journey to Penobscot Bay next, in the Gulf of Maine, for the Castine Classic Yacht Race. You’ll sail the 20-mile racecourse from Castine to Camden taking in islands, harbors, and craggy cliffs while employing sophisticated navigation.
After an overnight cruise south, you’ll awaken to the scenic coast of Portland, Maine. You’ll embark on a foraging day with an expert local chef, gathering porcini, beach greens, seaweed, mussels, and clams before washing and prepping your bounty under the guidance of the chef. It’ll then be cooked over an open fire on the beach for a meal featuring the best of Maine’s ingredients.
