WHAT MAKES THIS HOTEL UNIQUE?
It’s one of a number of Six Senses Resorts forming a serene chain across the kingdom. Paro is known as ‘stone ruins’ for the way in which the remnants of the nearby fortress (or ‘dzong’) have been thoughtfully blended into the resort’s architecture.
Also skillfully blended are elements of Bhutanese tradition into the lodge’s spa and wellness program. Treatments draw from the extensive herb garden and tailor-made wellness plans are overseen by expert practitioners.
The lodge is well-situated for any number of superb culturally-rich hikes with the most notable destination being Tiger’s Nest Monastery, located in the same valley as the lodge.
