Crested Butte, set high in the Coloradan Rocky Mountains, is renowned for its reliably heavy snowfall and incredible ski runs.

Get acquainted with this storied ski terrain in a custom snowcat that transports you to the fringes of this 1,000 plus acres of snowy wonderland. With well over 200 inches of snow annually smothering the firs and slopes of Crested Butte, you can expect to be wreathed in cold smoke as you plunge through miles of powder alongside the Lodge’s expert guides. Recharge during the day with delicious food in front of the fire in one of the two on-mountain cabins.

There’s no mistaking Scarp Ridge Lodge. This former saloon, originally created to serve a Croatian mining community, retains all of its duel-at-high-noon curb appeal. Inside, it’s like stepping into a time warp where the West was won with luxurious trappings, modern furnishings, reclaimed iron from the town’s mills, roaring fires, and mounted moose heads. 

After a day of cutting through the Colorado powder, return to the Lodge for downtime. Ease your aching muscles in the rooftop hot tub or indulge in a Swedish or deep tissue massage followed by relaxation in the steam room.

Head to the bar and enjoy après in your own home-away-from-home as the bartender makes any drink you desire. Let the chef prepare a delicious and warming supper and if you get hungry later, pop into the open kitchen and grab a snack from the fully-stocked fridge.
