The Resort at Paws Up Montana; June 2013; Eagle Cliff Tent at Cliffside Camp, USA

LOCATION

In the heart of Montana’s Blackfoot Valley, the Resort at Paws Up is set amid 37,000 acres of rolling hills and natural grandeur. Each of the resort’s beautiful, Montana-style homes has its own four acres.

The properties sit among tall forest with views of undulating meadows, portions of the rushing Blackfoot River (ten miles of which course through the property), and craggy mountains. To help you explore, the homes come equipped with cars and mountain bikes.

WHAT MAKES THIS HOTEL UNIQUE?

For an authentic taste of the American West, stay in one of Paws Up’s luxurious safari tents. Bringing you closer to nature, the tents—with air conditioning, heated floors, and daily housekeeping service—are ‘glamping’ at their finest. Select double beds or two singles, and expect a private deck and ensuite bathroom (with double vanity) as standard.

From the tent to Tank-Paws Up’s full-service luxury cocktail bar. Sip an expertly crafted sundowner while looking out across the winter landscape, thankful for the warmth from the crackling fireplace.

Paws Up’s dining experience draws upon the agricultural wealth of Montana. The chefs use river-caught fish, fresh produce, and other local ingredients to create a top-flight menu. There’s fine dining in the restaurant—or riverside if you prefer al fresco. For something more casual, select something seared to perfection on the grill at the ‘Check Wagon Dude Ranch Experience’.

To help switch off after a day spent exploring the countryside, find your way to the spa and wellness suites. Indulge in the extensive menu of rejuvenating treatments and personalized fitness classes.
