lundies house scotland

LOCATION

Nestled in the northwest of the Scottish Highlands, Lundies House is in a remote yet incredibly beautiful part of Scotland with commanding views of castle ruins, the Kyle of Tongue, and the mountains beyond.

Deeply rooted in its history, the exteriors stay true to the original 17th-century Scottish form with stone walls and slate roofs, but inside the blend of Scottish and Scandi aesthetic creates a homely and calming environment.

Lundies House is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding landscape and wider area. There are plenty of hikes suited to all levels – be it climbing Scotland’s most northerly Munro, Ben Hope, or a leisurely stroll around the historical ruin of Castle Varrich. The property also offers e-bikes which you can take to explore the unspoiled sandy beaches along the coastline, with wetsuits on hand for wild swimming and surfing.

WHAT MAKES THIS HOTEL UNIQUE?

A former manse (clergy house), Lundies House has been lovingly restored and is now a charming contemporary boutique hotel. Artfully combining Nordic and Highland influences to create ‘Scandi-Scot’, the refined interiors and profound sense of comfort have created something truly special here in this hidden part of the Highlands, something that you’ll want to return to time and again.
