Situated in its own private game reserve, Londolozi has been luring the Big Five to its clients’ gaze since 1926. This, the most exclusive of the five Londolozi camps, offers riverside suites set on the banks of the Sand River.
Designed to integrate with the wondrous natural world all around, the spacious suites have large windows, thatched vaulted ceilings, and doors that open onto the river. The photographs of elephants are a hint as to what you’re most likely to see wandering down for a drink at the river. Open-sided living spaces, sunset river bar, and cocktail lounge over the river round out a spectacular safari stay.
At night, wicker lanterns in the trees, candles, and the crackling firepit create an atmospheric ambiance in which to absorb the star-washed African nightscape and the intriguing noises of the bush.
