On golden Kalkudah Beach, on the East Coast of Sri Lanka, Karpaha Sands is a luxurious stay that puts as little as possible between you and its glorious beach surrounds.
Set on a former coconut plantation, the resort’s arty vibe is set by the metal gorilla sculpture at the entrance. The cool style within is modern and minimal with natural sustainable timber paired with stone that creates an unshowy and sophisticated environment in which to unwind.
