WHAT MAKES THIS HOTEL UNIQUE?
Its conservation ethos is superb. One example of this is that the camp is rebuilt seasonally and on shipping containers, to help minimize its environmental footprint.
The service and its flexibility also mark the camp apart. Your meals—and where you eat them—are entirely at your discretion, although the main dining tent is extremely well oriented for views of the mountains. The changing menus are a seasonal compilation of Indian and Western cuisines—cooked fresh in front of you—while freshly made snacks with coffee and tea are available at any time on request (the paneer kati rolls are especially delicious).
There’s a lakeside spa for when you want to dial down your adrenaline after a pulse-racing leopard sighting. Yoga and meditation sessions are also available, although it might be hard to concentrate as you’ll be itching for your next sunrise game drive.
