Inspired by Finnish heritage, the food is made from local ingredients and puts a modern twist on regional favourites. The restaurant is in keeping with the rest of the stunning architecture of the hotel, sip fine wines under the pinecone lamps and settle back into the minimal yet exquisitely comfy dining chairs as you enjoy some divinely tasty moments. The gastronomic champions include delicacies such as reindeer meat, fresh lake fish and wild mushroom and berries, all creatively combined to create an exciting take on authentic Lappish fare.

Sustainability

All structures are constructed using Finnish wood, a traditional, sustainable, and renewable material. To mitigate the impact on the forest floor, the buildings are erected in locations away from their final destination and then transported onto stilts. Green roofs aid in controlling urban runoff and reintroduce a substantial amount of vegetation equivalent to the building's footprint during construction. Additionally, 5,000 to 10,000 new seedlings are planted annually in the surrounding forests. Efforts are made to enhance the carbon footprint by measuring and improving sustainable energy and water-saving solutions. Waste reduction is managed, and geothermal energy is utilized. Furthermore, the use of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients minimizes food waste.
