Design

Canvas walls house dark wooden furnishings and large, curtain-draped beds. All furniture is delicately hand-crafted in authentic local style. Soft duvets, thick towels and large bathrobes lie in every room - as far from city life as it is possible to get, yet never compromising on luxury and comfort.

 

Activities

Highly experienced guides will take you on exclusive expeditions into the heart of the prairie, imparting their infinite knowledge of this untouched wilderness. Watch as majestic elephants follow ancient paths across the golden savannah, while lions sprawl lazily on branches, dozing in the heat of the afternoon sun. Back at the lodge, the pool’s natural aesthetic blends beautifully with its luscious surroundings, the ideal place to relax with a cool drink and soak up the liberating expanse of the African plain.

Sustainability

Since the 1990s, the conservation and protection initiatives have been paramount. Guests are not only welcome but encouraged to participate. The Lodge has assisted in building a village clinic and are currently working on a school project. Additionally, they collaborate closely with the local Karamojong people, engaging them in tourism development activities and providing training and employment opportunities in hospitality roles at the Lodge.
